Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns
Different devices have different return windows:
- Used devices: 14-day full money-back guarantee from date of receipt, provided thorough testing is done immediately.
- New devices: 30-day return window from date of receipt.
To qualify for a return:
- Item must be in original condition
- All accessories and original packaging must be included
Exceptions (Non-returnable):
- Downloadable software/activation keys
- Items damaged by misuse or unauthorized repair
- Products marked “final sale”
- Perishable or consumable items
2. Legal Return Rights
Under South African law, consumers may have a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases.
Separately, defective goods may in some cases be returned within six months under implied warranty rules.
Your policy selections do not override these legally mandated rights — they supplement them.
3. Warranties
New devices: Covered by manufacturer warranty where applicable.
Used devices: 14-day money-back guarantee.
Manufacturer warranties apply at the manufacturer’s discretion.
4. Refund Process
Once a return is received and inspected:
- We will notify you whether the refund is approved
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days
Partial refunds may be given if:
- Item is damaged or incomplete (not due to our error)
- Returned after the specified return window
5. Exchanges
We replace items only if defective or damaged.
If the same item is unavailable, a refund or alternative of equal value is offered.
6. Return Shipping
- If the item is faulty: ScellIT covers return shipping
- If the return is customer-initiated: customer pays shipping
Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
7. How to Request a Return
Email us with:
- Order number
- Product name
- Description of issue
- Photos, if applicable
